SAY NO TO 2023-8-ANX LOOKOUT RIDGE

The City of Georgetown is evaluating the Lookout Ridge Planned Unit Development (2023-8-ANX), located directly north of Teravista. This project currently consists of two phases:

Phase 1 covers approximately 41 acres and will include 330 units, all of which will be medium-density attached homes.

Phase 2 will encompass an additional 32 acres, with the number of units currently unknown.

If you live on the Georgetown side of Teravista, you will be impacted, as most, if not all, traffic (including construction traffic) entering and leaving Lookout Ridge will flow through our neighborhood.

The developer will be constructing a one-lane road going north to Blue Ridge Drive, but it is quite an inconvenient route. Additionally, most services in this area are to the south of us. Therefore, most of the Lookout Ridge traffic will pass through Teravista.

This situation might be somewhat alleviated when the Blue Ridge Drive Connector is built through Rabbit Hill Park, but this is expected to take another eight (8) years.

Please review the PUD Exhibits and send an email to planning@georgetown.org to voice your objection to this project.

Make sure to include the project case number 2023-8-ANX, your name and address as requested on the notice from the city.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
